Winter Wonderhack is a 36 hour event where people from all different backgrounds come together, form teams around a problem or idea, and collaboratively plan, design, or code a unique solution from scratch.
Eligibility
Everybody is welcome, however, participants under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay at the venue after the hours of operation. The venue closes at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday. Team sizes can be 1-4 participants.
Requirements
Select the categories, resources and technolgies used in your submission and upload a description of the purpose and function of you project. This may be in the form of a video, presentation, images or other media. Keep it brief - e.g. limit videos to no more than three minutes - and general. Judges will be visiting your project at the expo.
Prizes
Wolfram Alpha Pro and Wolfram one Language access(One Year)
Each person on the top 12 teams will win this prize a $375.00 value.
Prize for best hack that helps after a disaster/loss
A $100 steam gift card, blanket, various gaming accessories , and an Auto-Owners Duffel Bag for each member of the team.
Most practical award
A $100 gift card of the winner's choice also a Google home mini.
Most creative award
A $25 gift card of their choice and Raspberry Pi 3 kit.
Most useless Award
A $25 gift card of their choice and a useless box.
Top Woman Award
A basket of items from SWE.
